Having used up a whole tube of toothpaste, become a pro-shopper in Lidl and gained the ability to wash up a meal as I go, madly signifies that my first semester of uni is drawing to a close. And whilst I only feel I’ve been living here a handful of moments, it’s been filled with uni days, nights out and all that lies in between. Whilst being at uni, along with the drift into autumn, I feel like my everyday wardrobe has vastly restructured, but I also love how it’s evolved.

Once it hits November, I am always itching to decorate my room. I love bringing Christmas to my bed, turning my little square-footage into what mimics Santa’s workshop if I say so myself. And I feel like I’ve become quite talented in it. So whilst university living limits me to a small room, barely any storage space for Christmas bits, and the worst walls and curtains, nothing stopped me from decking the halls (all puns intended), and on a budget.

Cue the party poppers, finger food and glamour. Well maybe not. Realistically my current attempt at a party wouldn’t even result in Lidl’s frozen party treats (the uni budget killing the spirit just a tad). Yet, the thing is that after all this time, coming back to blogging seemed worth celebrating, and I’m excited.
