The Pink Pinafore

Okay, hold it- can we just stop for a second to appreciate how bloody cute this pink pinafore is? I’ve had it less than a week and I’m already obsessed with my new spring-time staple.

This little baby was popped into my shopping bag just last week, when I fell in love with it. Yet the most surprising thing- I was in PRIMARK. I’ve always valued a little bit of Primark, and enjoy finding the gems in the piles of slogan tees, and I feel this pinafore is one.

Faux suede, pink and aline in shape- this pinny is literally my perfect spring outfit. I don’t often wear blocks of colour, yet this soft pink is somehow so wearable.

I am also a huge lover of the pinafore trend, and am grasping at any chance to keep it going from winter into spring summer- hence the bare legs (somehow British weather was actually warm enough)!

The little pinafore is so comfy and cute, and I love the 60s like style. I’m also appreciating the aline cut, hence my abundance of denim skirts in it, as it is literally so flattering. I also feel it is very expensive looking and Topshop-like, however it was just £10- BARGAIN!

I wore this with a simple black ribbed Bardot top (I recently discussed my love for it in this post), bare legs and black heeled boots.

I can’t wait to style this more in my wardrobe over the next few weeks, I just feel good in it and it makes me excited for the sunshine- on the days we do get it.

Thanks for reading gals, as always I’m up for a chat in the comments! What are you loving lately? Have a lovely day,

  1. I almost bought this in Primark last week, but ended up going for dungarees in a light denim wash; such a close call though. It looks great on you! It would be interesting to see how you would style it for different looks. I also wanted to say good luck with your exams, I know they're not long away now. I'm sitting my A2's this year so we're in a similar position x

  4. Primark is one of the best shops in my opinion, although it can be hard, you can usually find some real gems in there for amazing prices. The pinafore isn't something I would usually go for but it looks so pretty and stunning on you, that next time I take a trip to Primarni I might have to have a look for it myself. Also just reading that you are from a town near Bristol made me smile as I'm from Bristol and I love it when I find bloggers my age that live in my area! I've just found your blog and I'm loving it so far, definitely sticking around and I can't wait to read some more of your posts! xx
